The Man that Started it All

Van Parker started Parker’s Automotive Repair, Inc. in 1992.  The day he first opened the doors of what would become his lifelong business, he set forth a series of life-altering changes for his family and friends that he never imagined possible. As the business matured, so did Van. He mentored his nephew with every step he took, shook hands with countless customers in his office, and laughed as his children weaved scooters around vehicles on the concrete floor. There was a reason why customers traveled miles out of their normal paths to go to a small repair shop, and that reason was Van. Although he died in 2017, the walls of Parker’s Automotive echo Van’s voice with the countless life lessons they absorbed from him in the 25 years he worked within them. Van was a humble, honest man who crafted a humble, honest repair shop to help his family and community. Every day, we work to preserve the legacy of a man who gave the world to his family and hope that you see his lasting integrity with every service that comes out of our shop.
